STIHL ElastoStart
As a result of the compression pressure, when
two-stroke engines are started, jerky forces are generated that put a strain on muscles and joints.
ElastoStart noticeably reduces this.
A special damping element in the starter grip expands according to the
tensile force and thus ensures an even start-up process without sudden force peaks.

Lockable throttle with stop button
The throttle can be locked in any desired position between idle and full throttle.
A quick press of the thumb on the stop button turns it off.
The device is then automatically ready for operation again.

STIHL anti-vibration system
The existing AV system reduces vibrations to a minimum and
thus ensures a high level of working comfort even during longer periods of use.

One-hand operation with soft grip zone
Ergonomically shaped handle with soft grip zone.
The devices are operated easily and safely, and your hand stays on the handle.
The throttle lever between idle and full throttle can be locked in any desired position.
This is a work simplification that should not be underestimated, especially during longer work assignments.

Manual Fuel Pump
The manual fuel pump delivers fuel to the carburetor with the press of a thumb.
As a result, the number of starting pulls is reduced after the machine has been idle for a longer period of time.
All lawn care power tools and all blowers have a manual fuel pump.

STIHL 2-MIX engine
The STIHL 2-MIX engine is powerful and economical at the same time.
The separation of exhaust gas and fresh gas minimizes scavenging losses and
