The STIHL RM 248.1 T petrol lawn mower has been developed to effortlessly mow medium-sized lawns up to 1200m². The single-speed drive allows you to mow the lawn without having to push the mower, great for steep and larger lawns. Featuring foldable handlebars with a super-soft grip, the RM 248 T offers a compact storage solution and extra comfort when pushing across the lawn. Simple operation of the central seven-setting cutting height adjustment enables an extremely precisely cut lawn at heights from 25 to 75 mm. The large 55-litre grass catcher box ensures fast mowing with fewer breaks. The RM 248.1 T comes with a 5 year extended domestic warranty (subject to registration and annual servicing).

Standard Equipment
Easy start engine (ReadyStart)
Thanks to the ReadyStart technology, the engine of the STIHL petrol lawn mower can be reliably started up with minimal effort both during cold and warm starting.
Self-propelled
Self-propelled STIHL lawn mowers take the effort out of lawn mowing. The drive mechanism propels the mower without it physically having to be pushed. This makes working easier, especially on large lawns and inclines.
Highlift blade
The highlift blade gives a precise finish to the lawn and ensures optimal filling of the grass catcher box. The blade creates a strong air current in the housing, which makes the grass stand upright before cutting and efficiently carries the clippings into the catcher box using an integrated and powerful air flow system.
Smooth running wheels
The smooth running wheels of the STIHL lawn mowers are extremely robust and hard-wearing. They have been equipped with a traction pattern and directional stability tread pattern for effortless manoeuvring and to help hold perfect line during mowing.
Super soft grip
The super soft grip is comfortable to hold, especially when used over longer periods.
Foldable handlebar
Thanks to its foldable handlebars, the lawn mower can be made even more compact for space-saving storage or for transport.
Sheet steel deck
The torsion-resistant sheet steel deck is extremely durable and built to last.
Central cutting height adjustment
The central cutting height adjustment is spring-loaded, which makes it easy to set the desired cutting height in several settings. The current height is indicated by a scale.
